My Adirondack Adventures began with the discovery of the Saranac Lake 6ers challenge! The idea is to climb the 6 highest peaks in the Saranac Lake area. There are also the Ultra 6ers (climb all 6 peaks within a continuous 24 hour period), the Winter 6ers (climb all 6 peaks between December 21-March 21), and there are even Winter Ultra 6ers! Completion of the 6ers earns you an official member number and a “6er” patch.
